    I have often wondered how this great City of London can accommodate so many things within just one square mile. This area is filled with a wealth of things such as museums, galleries, cultural venues, bars and restaurants, festivals, churches, green spaces and shops. Every nook and corner of this square mile has something to tell everyone who makes an effort to visit.

    The Square Mile knows everyone and everyone may not know every bit of it. It may know me and even Mr Christos Niarchos- who is the man next door. The reason is nothing but the fact that the City of London itself is over 800 years old and as well as being the financial capital of London, is full of traces of its unique heritage.

    PostHeaderIcon Travelodge with 500th Hotel in Stratford Near London Olympic Stadium!

    Budget hotel operators Travelodge opened its 500th chain hotel near the Olympic Stadium in Stratford. The 500th budget hotel opened near olympic stadium was part of a large London expansion programme.

    I know Travelodge and have experienced their facilities staying with them more than once. Travelodges are famous for  budget friendly hotel accommodation and have always offered notable locations (convenient to bus and rail roots). The one at Stratford also is close to rail links. Cross rail means many people can come and stay here. While then, My friend- who is working with Magnum Marketing, opinioned that, "as Olympics are at hand, the new hotel gets advantaged, although it is a short-term event."

    "British Airways to use social media to debut its London 2012 Olympic advertising campaign, including Google+."

    I got this flash news the other day as an SMS from one of my friends who is working for Flash Organisation Ltd. Later, I read up in the news that the ad, under the “To Fly. To Serve” tag line, has debuted on Facebook at 11 am on 9 February and then Google+ shortly afterwards. It will make its television appearance on Coronation Street in the evening.

    PostHeaderIcon “GREAT” Britain campaign to exploit spotlight provided by London!

    The government and national tourism body VisitBritain is to launch a £25m global marketing campaign, a “sales assault”, intended to attract an additional 4.6 million visitors to the UK over the next four years.

    The campaign is being launched to exploit the spotlight provided by the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This campaign is also expected to give more opportunities for marketing companies like Blackcode Advetising to excel in business.
