Christmas Dining In London With a Gift Experience!
Christmas is just weeks away, you might be planning to make a grant Christmas Lunch. Those of you in London who are looking to lunch out and those of you who want to gift someone with a Christmas lunch out with surprises, luckily there are plenty of places to cater for you in London...for a price (definitely)!
As you'd expect, every hotel will be open, which is where you'll find the greatest choice of dining rooms, but there's still the odd restaurant and gastropub around town where refugees who'd prefer to be cooked for without having to endure a family Christmas can find a home on 25th December. Those of you want to make someone's Christmas dining a gift experience, can gift them with restaurant gift vouchers.
While then, here are the best ones open on that very day. You can't think of many jollier places to spend Christmas Day than Whitehall's The Balcon, particularly when enjoying the ministrations of their Champagne Angel, Christine. The four course menu costs £105 per person. If you've already eaten your fill of turkey dinners by now, go for something completely different with Christmas lunch at The Cinnamon Club.
There's sure to be a buzz on Christmas Day at Dean St Townhouse in the heart of Soho, where they're offering a five course menu for £95 per person including a welcome glass of champagne. If you're looking for somewhere plush to eat on Christmas Day, The Gilbert Scott should see you proud. From £148 per person you can feast on a seven course tasting menu with matching wines. Over in Knightsbridge Pierre Koffmann is offering a four-course meal for Christmas dinner at his restaurant at the Berkeley hotel for £110 per person.
Le Pont de la Tour and Dinner By Heston offers other Christmas delights. There are two options for Christmas lunch at The Ritz. The Ritz Restaurant is offering their traditional six-course Christmas Day Luncheon (£390 per person / £195 per child) which includes live music and a visit from Santa Claus. For those who're looking for a particularly festive Christmas lunch, just head to The Landau. Executive chef and Roux protege Chris King has put together a wine-matched four course menu for £295 for you to enjoy in the splendidly ornate David Collins-designed dining room.
There are more restaurants open around on the day of Christmas, but the listed ones above are the way different to make a different Christmas!

Newsflash
| The upcoming Olympics in London this year is expected to bring little profit to brand leaders which include Aviva, Halfords, ITV, Sainsbury's, Rolls-Royce and Tesco. This came to light when businesses assessed what effect they think the Olympic Games would have on their business. There seem to be a regional disparity, in which business leaders in London are more likely to view the Games as "beneficial", than those based outside the capital.
